December 7 .. Hey Everyone! It’s been too long so here’s an update.
First of all I want to thank everyone for sending my Grandma Leta “get well cards and letters”. It has really lifted her spirits. Now I just need her to get back to work so we can get the posters flowing at a normal rate again….Just Kidding Grandma……..but seriously when are you coming back to work?
I just got home from Atlantis in the Bahamas yesterday. It was nice to hang out with my family for a week.
I have been skating my butt off and have a great ad coming out next month that will be used to launch my Pro Model Etnies shoe which will hit the stores in January. I’ve been collecting video footage and am working aggressively on my next video part. I’m not exactly sure when or where it will used but the footage will be awesome.
I have added some new STUFF to my store if you’re interested. I personally only skate the Tensor Low Trucks so I added them because so many of you guys (and girls) who are skating ask me about them. I also added Grip Tape and hardware. So if you are interested in riding my EXACT set up or pieces of my set up I can hook you up. As always all deck orders come personalized with a poster.
I’m getting on a plane to New Mexico tomorrow for 2 days. I have a role in the upcoming major motion picture “Doubting Thomas” where I play myself. It should be a really cool movie. The leading actress is the girl who played Violet in Willie Wonka. I will give you more details when I get home.

November 16 .. Grandma Leta is kicking some serious butt! She is home now and recovering well. So let's forget skateboarding for a minute ...OK half a minute. I want to seriously thank EVERY one of you who sent my grandma a card. I especially want to throw huge SHOUT OUT to the P.B.R in Houston Texas (you know who you are ~Jerry~Fran~Steven~Brandon~James). My grandma is still laughing at your card and sharing it with everyone she knows!
November 7..I’m in Arizona at the moment with Arto, Creager and the rest of Etnies touring for the week. I Just wanted to post a quick message thanking you guys for the great wishes for my Grandma Leta. She is going into the hospital tomorrow and at 12:00 noon they will perform open heart surgery to repair her heart valve. I owe a lot to this beautiful lady! She helps out me and my family so much which allows my mom to hang out and travel with me. So if you get a minute or have time and you want to send her a get well card I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

November 1 .. It has been a long time since I updated the site. We are working on a new site right now and the store will be improved. If you have any cool ideas be sure to email them to me. Some of you have some great ideas that I am going to use.
I got my Range Rover back from KICKER this weekend and it’s REALLY awesome. In fact I can’t find the words to describe it. Wired for Sound in Temecula installed the product and I really want to throw out a huge THANKS to them. My dad and I are taking it to Vegas for the SEMA show at the Hard Rock Hotel. It will be displayed in the KICKER Car Show. If any of you are in the market for some hard hitting subs be sure to check out the KICKER line up. The product is great.

Goofy vs Regular ….. we got our butts kicked and kicked hard. We gave it our all but it wasn’t enough. I placed 2nd in the runs, 3rd in the first JAM and then I won the second JAM but my good friend Ronnie Creager was killing it.
The Dew Action Sport Tour turned out really nice for me. I ended up with a 3rd place finish in Florida but finished as Athlete of the Year and the Overall Winner for Street.
Posters and letters .. Right now there will be a problem for me to get posters out to all of you who have sent envelopes to me. I will get to it but my right hand lady (My Grandma Leta) is going into the hospital today to have a heart valve replaced. My grandma helps me so much by picking up my mail at the office and staging all of the letters and envelopes in her house and then calling me to come over and sign everything. With out her help there is no way I can get to all the mail. You can keep sending it and if you want to ……you can send my Grandma a little get well card, she is a great lady who LOVES SKATEBOARDING!

October 3 .. WEST 49 CANADIAN OPEN PRESENTED BY X-BOX
Greg Lutzka and Ryan Sheckler took home first and second place honors, respectively, in the final day of action at the West 49 Canadian Open. This weekend marked the fourth year for the world skateboarding tour stop at Mississauga’s Hershey centre and close to 15,000 fans took in the action. Over $75,000 was awarded throughout the weekend including $20,000 for the Battle of the Brands, a competition deciding who had the best team in Shoes, Apparel, Decks, Trucks and Wheels.

September 30 .. Ryan is in Canada for the West 49. Today the USA took on the rest of the world in a 7 Stair hand rail contest and won 1st price. The USA was comprised of Ryan Sheckler as Team Captain, Erik Kosten, Jeremy Rogers and Greg Lutzka. Congrats to all for killing the rail
Tomorrow Ryan will compete in the semi-finals so check back for results.
September 16.. Hurricane Katrina Relief

September 11 .. New school and old school met at Skate Park Finals at the Toyota Challenge for a showing of some of the best skating to date. In the end, Sheckler edged out Tony Trujillo and secures the Tour Skate title. See how it all went down here...

September 9th .. Ryan is on his way to San Jose for the 4th (and very important) stop of the Dew Action Sport Tour which will be held on Sunday.
From San Jose Ryan will fly to Montana to meet up with Tony Hawk where he will participate in the much awaited Tony Hawk Tour. This tour will take Ryan all over the states and ultimately end up in the Grand Cayman Islands. He will get a 1 day break and then he is off to Canada for the West 49 contest.

August 28 .. Ryan put a new bag of ''switch'' tricks in to the mix at Slam City Jam this year but it just wasn't enough to take the top honors. August 19.. 3rd stop of the Dew Action Sport Tour is in full swing. Today Ryan qualified 1st for the finals which will be held tomorrow. Billy Marks came in 2nd and the scores were really close. August 11.. Ryan landed in Maryland today and was immediately picked up by his good friends Travis Pastrana, Kenny "The Cowboy" Bartrom and Ronnie Renner. Who knows what will take place between tonight and tomorrow.
On Sunday Ryan will be with the Oakley Team in Fairfax Virginia at Wakefield Skatepark for the Bragging Rights Shop Contest. Ryan will be signing autographs and participating in a demo in-between the contest.
August 1 .. Sorry for not updating the news on the site. Even my grandma is kicking my butt for not doing it! So here is an update for my grandma and anyone else who cares.
I just got back from an awesome trip to Hawaii. It was amazing and I met so many cool people there at the skate parks and around the island. A day after I got back I headed out to the Soka Fest in St. Louis with Rowley. It was a lot of fun and the demo was packed. Thanks to everyone who came out there and supported me. It was awesome.
X Games …this Thursday! 10 guys in what should be one unbelievable jam session. Tickets for the street skateboarding are sold out! It’s the only X Games event to sell out. If you guys have tickets you will have to get their really early to get a seat. I heard that they are moving some of the course around to make it easier for spectators….but I just don’t know. I’m playing golf with Ronnie Creager today and then I’m heading to LA for a look at the course.
The 3rd stop of the Dew Action sports tour is in 2 weeks and I will be in Portland for that.
My new website is being manufactured right now! It’s really going to be tight and I hope you all like it. The new site will let you sign up for the news letters and other cool stuff. We will be having cool contests for skateboards, posters and other gear. Right now I’m not updating the pictures on this site mainly because you great fans are posting them on other sites before I can even get them in my hands to put them up on this site. July 7 .. Ryan did it again in Denver at the 2nd stop of the Dew Action Sports Tour! He qualified for the finals 1st and took 1st over all. Congrats to Ryan!

July 4th .. Ryan placed 3rd in Germany. It was an incredibly tough contest for Ryan due to the fact that he was taken to the hospital by ambulance for what we thought was a fractured TIBIA bone in his lower leg. He will be home tonight from Germany and he will visit his surgeon tomorrow morning before boarding a plane to Denver for the 2nd stop of the Dew Action Sports Tour.

June 10 .. Dew Action Sports Tour..
Ryan placed 1st in the 24 man qualifier then took 1st in the 12 man preliminary contest.....
and Congrats to Ryan for bringing it all the way home with a 1st place finish in the first stop of the Dew Action Sports Tour. It was a tough battle to the top with the likes of Koston, P-Rod, Fernandez, Chalmers, Seaholm, Senn and a host of other great skaters.
June 6 .. I have a busy June and July. For anyone interested here’s how it will go down.
Arrive in Louisville Kentucky on Wednesday June 8th to practice for the Dew Action Sports event. The finals will run on Friday and hopefully I will be there competing.
On Saturday the 11th I’m driving to Kettering Ohio for the Hammers and Bangers contest. This should be an awesome event so come and check it out!
I will fly home on Sunday and finish a week of school.
On the 17th I am flying to Texas to join the Volcom tour for 2 days and then flying home for father’s day.
On the 29th I leave for the Monster Mastership in Munster Germany. I will fly home on July 4th for a couple days of rest and then on July 6th I’m heading to Denver for the 2nd stop of the Dew Action Sport Tour.
On July 11th I may be in PA for the Gravity Games. That is still up in the air.
May 16 .. I'm in Finland right now touring and filming with ETNIES. Thanks to all the fans that showed up in New York for the Nintendo premier. The support was awesome and I appreciate it.

May 4 .. I think I confused a lot of people with my last post to the news section. Check it out. We are working on the sign up page for the mailing list now. It won’t be done for 2 weeks because my webmaster Mr. Bragg (the smartest guy on the planet) is busy integrating some of the software.
I have a new graphic coming in 2 weeks. Check the site in the next couple of days for the release. It’s based on the old TV show the A Team. This is a limited release graphic and my store will have 20 of them next week. If you’re interested you can buy it when you see it come up on the site and I will reserve the order for you.
April 25 .. For anyone keeping track it looks like my elbow doesn't require surgery. I've got some junk moving around in there but for now its business as usual.
April 21 .. I have a lot of news to share. First of all you guys are keeping me busy every night signing posters, which I’m happy to do. The bad news is that I am officially out of posters. You can still send in your envelop but it will be 2 months before I will have new posters to send back to you. I promise the new posters are going to be sic!! I have been filming as much as possible and have some crazy shots that we may use for the new poster. I’m also sending my new stickers with every poster and order from the website.
I got my new car and I’m just going crazy because I can’t drive it. It just sits in the garage waiting for me to pull it out and wash it, wax it or just listen to some music. I swear I think I may rub the paint off of it before I get my license! I will post some pics of it next week. Let me know what you think.
Right now I’m working on my video part for the upcoming Oakley video. This video is going to be awesome and the entire team is working really hard on it. I’ve also been filming and working on the Volcom catalog that is coming out next month.
I have some bad news to share and that is that I may have to have surgery on one of my elbows. As some of you may know I have broken a lot of bones (and continue to love my sport) but the damage to one of my arms is getting worse every day. Anyway I think the Dr. will make his final decision on Monday. I will let you know what happens.
Lastly, I have some new graphics coming out next month. ALMOST skateboard is doing a series based on the TV Show the A-Team and my new graphic has Mr. T on it. My store has 20 decks reserved for delivery and I will post a pic of the new graphic next week. I think this will be a limited production run in case you’re interested.
O’h there is one more thing. My ETNIES pro model shoe is FINISHED and it’s CRAZY!! If you skate you are going to love how I designed the flexible sole at the ball of your feet. This shoe gives you more flexibility when doing tricks. For those of you who may not skate but love ETNIES I can tell you that this is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. There are some more super trick things about the shoe but I can’t talk about it yet. The shoe will be officially unveiled at the September 2005 ASR show and then it should be hitting the stores.
OK…this is the last bit of news for sure. I am creating an on-line mailing list. If you would like to get my quarterly news letter in the mail then you will need to fill out all the mailing information on line. Check it out.. I promise I will not sell this information. My dad is over my shoulder right now telling me that a lot of people won’t give me their address because they don’t want junk mail. March 9 .. Finished filming the Dew Action Sports commercials with Dave Mira, Bucky Lasek, Shawn White and Jamie Bestwick. These commercials are CRAZY and should start airing at the end of the month nationally. Let me know what you think when you see them.
I’ve been skating tons! I finished a photo shoot for my ALMOST ad, CCS ad and Etnies ad. I also got wrecked doing it. Second degree burns on a few body parts, swellbow on my already bad elbow and a bruised foot/ankle…..but it’s all good and nothing is broke!

January 31 .. Supercross was off the HOOK!! I took 6th out of 24 in the cross over challenge.
January 21 .. I'm one of the confirmed "cross over" athletes to race (motocross) at Ball Stadium in San Francisco next Saturday night. If you follow motocross then you probably know that each year they invite select athletes to race on the actual supercross track.

December 28 .. Hello to all. I have some things to talk about. I have changed my on-line store to help anyone who can’t find my product and want to have it. I encourage you to try your local skate shop before buying from my store but I know a lot of shops are either out or run out of my boards and the newest DVDs. I am now selling the newest Almost Round 3 DVD and 4 of my pro model boards. All of the DVDs come with stickers and if you want an autograph on the board or DVD cover just ask and I will personalize it for you. We have improved our distribution and promise to ship anything ordered within 24 hours.
There were approximately 20 orders for the EVERYDAY DVD that I cannot fill. They have stopped burning this DVD so I can’t ship it. My distribution manager had to delete all of the orders so if you had this DVD on order please let your parents know the situation.
Jokers Grind Rails is under new ownership so I hate to tell you that I won’t be able to sell these rails off of my site for awhile. These are the best rails and I recommend that you try to get one if you need a rail. I will try to get the new contact information on my site when it comes available.
We should talk about emails. I try my hardest to get to all the emails. Even if I don’t or can’t respond because of my schedule doesn’t mean I don’t read each and every one of them. Thanks for your continued support. I will try to get to the emails but don’t be mad if it takes awhile.
December 3 .. Not much to report..hours and hours of flat land skating right now. I'm leaving for a week long trip to Puerto Rico today with the Etnies team. Meetings, golf and skating are on the list of activities to accomplish. I won't be able to answer any emails during this trip.
November 23 .. OK, I just got home from a whirl wind trip and I want to give some major league thanks to the fans that came out in London and Toronto to support the ALMOST video. The turn out and response to the video was awesome! I had a great time in London (my first time there) and the fans were great. I have been to Toronto a few times ..... but have to say that it's always cool to go there to skate and hang out.
The video should be in the stores soon. I don't know if I will be able to sell it on my site so check with your local shops first. If you can't get it from your local shop or if they aren’t going to stock it be sure to let me know and I will see what I can do to get it on my site.

November 10 .. Skate .. School .. Skate .. School that's about all that I have been doing lately. I have some new boards coming out that are made of this incredible combination of materials. I am testing them now but expect them to be at the stores soon.
I have a lot of surprises coming out soon. I cant' talk about all of them at this time. One thing for sure is that we are working on a completely new website that is going to blow you away. We are starting some testing on different things ... but I promise it will be cool and new.
Tonight is the premier for the Almost video in Hollywood. I think you guys are going to like it a lot. There is some great skating by the entire team. Thanks for your support and thanks for the encouraging emails.
October 15th .. I'm leaving for a quick trip to Atlanta Georgia for the release of Tony Hawk Under Ground 2. This will be a huge event sponsored by Sobe and many others. If you're not doing anything you should roll out for this one!

September 27 .. continued ... With all the excitement I almost forgot to throw out my props to my bro Shane and the rest of the San Clemente Tritons for getting after Montebello to remain UNDEFEATED in Pop Warner Football!
September 27 .. OK, things didn't go so well at the last stop of the Vans Triple Crown in HB California. I broke my right arm during practice on Saturday. Today, after seeing the surgeon I found out that I also broke my left elbow a few weeks ago while on tour and the bone actually turned over and fused to the growth plate. Needless to say my weekend sucked pretty bad. I will be out for a couple of weeks. Anyway...congrats to Bastien for kicking butt.

September 20th .. I'm home from Gravity Games with a Bronze. Congrats to Rodil (Gold) and Lutzka (Silver), they skated great. Next weekend is the last stop of the Vans Triple Crown in HB California. I'm going to try and pull out all the stops for this last contest of the year.
Congrats to my Bro Shane for being the only San Clemente Pop Warner Team to win their game last weekend against the Santa Ana Redskins!
September 13 .. The LG Action Sports Championship of Skateboarding went my way. I want to give props to all the skaters who gave it their all in the blazing heat of Pomona. It was a great contest and I feel proud to have won it. I also want to give a ton of thanks to the fans in Pomona who cheered for me and all the other skaters. It was hot but everyone stuck it out and that made it awesome.
Next weekend is the Gravity Games. I will be in Ohio from Wednesday through Sunday. If you’re not doing anything be sure to check the Gravity Games website and come on out. The skating should be awesome!
August 30 .. I’m home from King of the Road. What an unbelievable 3 weeks of skating and playing. The ALMOST team ended up placing 3rd just 10 points behind Team Real. I have to give props to Jamie Thomas and his team for kicking everyone's butt!!! They were amazing and showed a tremendous amount of discipline on this tour! Good Job Jamie. All the results will be in a 20 page spread in an up coming edition of Thrasher.
I just started back to school so I have to hit the emails inbetween skating and homework.
Upcoming Events: September 12 is the LG Championships in Pomona California and then later in the month I will be in Ohio for the Gravity Games. If you're around be sure to attend. The skating should be awesome.

I leave on Friday for the "King of the Road Tour". For the next couple of weeks we will be in different states every day or every other day. The ALMOST team is competing against other teams in a contest put on by Thrasher Magazine. All the details will be published in Thrasher Magazine in the coming months. I will update you on the results when I get home and let you know if the ALMOST team brought home the coveted first place price.

July 25th .. I have been getting tons of emails regarding the LA Times article that printed last week. I think some of the skating public is reading more into it than there really is. I'M NOT QUITING SKATEBOARDING...OR TAKING A BREAK FROM IT. I'm just going to be really careful with my schedule so that I can attend the first 1/2 of my freshman year at high school. Trust me when I say that skateboarding is a passion of mine, I can't turn it on and off.
Other than that I am trying to get my ankle healed for X Games, Gravity Games and the last stop of the Vans Triple Crown.

June 28th .. First of all thanks to all the fans that came out to the Zumies demo’s in Sacramento and Oregon. Thanks for all your support! Lately, I’ve been filming for my ALMOST video part which will be done soon. I finished my part in a new motion picture set to be released next year called “Dish Dogs”. I wish I could tell you more about it. This is going to be a funny and entertaining movie. I also finished my part for the next Tony Hawk video game.

May 20 .. So many thing going on right now....tons and tons of skating. I'm working on my ALMOST video part now.
The Premier of Volcom's video is tonight! I don't know if I will be able to sell it on my site. Stay tuned for that..........but I'm sure all of you will like the video. All the skaters did some amazing skating.

February 14th..Globe World Cup Championship went down like this for Ryan.
Made the top 20 semi-final / Qualifed 1st in his heat and made the top 12 / Qualified 3rd and made the main event which consisted of 6 skaters. The contest finished like this: Ronnie Creager=1st / Rick McCrank=2nd / Carlos DeAndrade=3rd / Ryan Sheckler=4th / Paul Macnau=5th
February 13th .. Globe World Championship update.
The best of the best have showed up for this contest. Muska, Reynolds, Penny, Creager and even a few vert guys like Way and Burnquist. Yesterday in practice Ryan got hooked up doing a feable on a 30ft. hand rail and bounced to the bottom flat area. A lot of ice and a few hours later he was back at it!
In just a few hours it is go time!! Check back later for results.
January 30 .. Ryan has left for OZ, New Zealand and the surrounding cities for a filming tour with ALMOST. He will participate in the Globe World Championships on February 14 in Australia and then resume filming until the end of the month.

January 6th ... Happy New Year! Please hold the emails for 10 days or so. I am jumping on a plane today for a 10 day tour with Volcom in Miami Florida. We are going to do some MAD FILMING for the new video coming out soon. We are also going to hit the Surf Expo to see what's going on.

There is a really sic article in the 10th anniversary of Sports Illustrated for KIDS. For me personally..I think it's one of the better articles written.

November 26 .. The Digital Video Premier for “Everyday” was held last night at VOLCOM and it was insane. Check your local skate shop for availability or buy it here at my on-line store. It’s definitely a MUST HAVE for your skateboard library. All videos sold from my site are shipped with stickers and a signed poster. Also, 5% of every sale is donated to the Cancer Society.
November 22 .. LGS Skateboarding World Championships
1st Danny Viera = $30,000
2nd Chris Senn = $15,000
3rd Ryan Sheckler = $12,000
The contest was crazy. After qualifying for the finals in 4th place Ryan stepped it up and was tied with Chris Senn for 2nd place going into run number 2. Ryan bobbled and Senn didn't and that's how it ended. Danny V was absolutely unstoppable with 2 PERFECT runs.
November 18 .. Ryan has left "Make A Wish" for Arizona where the Volcom/Etnies team will be doing some filming.
Ryan will cut the trip short and fly home Thursday so he can prepare for the Championship of Skateboarding in Pomona California on November 22.
October 19 .. I got back from Spain last week and then took a sic vacation with my family to Pismo Beach for some MX Riding in the dunes and some relaxation.
Spain was awesome. The ALMOST team was super productive and got some great footage for the new video .... coming out soon!
I didn't know it but I guess the Gravity Games street skating was on TV today. Thanks for all the emails. I'm responding as fast as I can.

September .. Vans Triple Crown .. Andy Macs 4th place finish in vert put him 50 points ahead of Ryan in the race for the the new Ford Ranger.
September 2003 .. Vans Triple Crown Finals .. Ryan Sheckler qualified 3rd place on Friday which put him straight into the finals for Saturdays big dance. He finished the contest in 9th place and became the YOUNGEST WORLD CHAMPION IN SKATEBOARDING HISTROY. In addition, he also became the youngest skateboarder in history to win the over all Van's Triple Crown.
The 2003 Ford Ranger Truck is still up for grabs and wont be decided until Sunday night after the Vert Finals.

Teenage Sensation Ryan Sheckler Bops His Way to Skate Gold
The little man with the big tricks had the performance of a lifetime -- and he's only 13. Ryan Sheckler is some skater. The 13-year-old prodigy blew the crowd up today with his clean airs, ultra-fluid lines, and his endless trick-combination creativity. It was Sheckler from the get-go, scoring high on his first run and holding the lead the entire three-round contest. With an impressive gold chain bouncing with each jump, he coolly busted trick after trick, including in his third run a backside lipslide to kickflip 180 alley-oop, and a couple of lofty transfers over the midsection. After the awards ceremony, Sheckler, medal in hand and assessing the weight of what he had just won, blurted out, "This thing is sick!" Coming from the youngest pro skateboarder ever, his take on the contest comes as an understatement. He knows how to play into it too. Many times throughout the event he was looking all-important, talking into his high-tech cell phone -- probably, one imagines, to an agent. "He may have braces, but damn he's a badass little shit," remarked ninth-place finisher Austen Seaholm. Yes, it's true the youngster has braces, but he also has in his pocket a less-than-modest $23,000 check. That's about $21,500 more than Seaholm's. And he doesn't even have to go to regular school. He can't -- he's too busy making money. Instead, the first-year teenager is home-schooled. "I don't go to school, but I have to still learn," explained Sheckler, defending his lifestyle. "It's rad. I just do things a little differently because I skate so much." The reigning Gravity Games champion and fourth-place finisher, Eric Koston -- who has won the last three consecutive years -- could do nothing but concede to his deposing. Second-place finisher Rick McCrank came about as close to beating Sheckler as the 14-year age gap between the two. It wasn't until the third and final round that McCrank stepped it up. Pulling out his technical wizardry, he let the judges know that he is the undisputed master of the complex. But he also kept it classically simple with a solid transfer over the spine and a large nollie over the midsection. Unlike Sheckler, McCrank is a veteran, where winning contests like this "is just all part of the job." Asked what the contest meant to him, he said, "Well, this definitely makes me feel better about myself, because I've been doing really crappy lately." The earnings will help out too, as he just bought a new house in Vancouver. "All my money is going straight to the bankers."

The new breed is officially here, as 13-year-old first-year pro Ryan Sheckler grabbed the gold in Skateboard Park. His runs were packed with consistency and style and included many legit moves, proving he's no fluke. Brazilian Rodil de Araujo Jr. grabbed silver, and the wonder from down under, Chad Bartie, was third.
Both of Schekler's runs were amazing, in part because he was the only skater to complete every trick he tried. As a result, he would have won the event with either of his runs. Sheckler, who is just 4' 10", threw out a flurry of power moves that are amazing for someone so small. Said Moto X rider Carey Hart: "How does he go so big for such a little dude?"
Sheckler spit out frontside feebles and back smiths on the flat rail, big kickflips both ways, and, of course, his patented "Sheck-lair", the indy kickflip flyout. When confronted with the fact that he's so much younger than his fellow competitors, Ryan said, "You look up to everybody. All these guys are my heros, and then here I am skating right there next to them all the time. It's rad."
Utilizing the compact course proved difficult for a lot of the skaters. Most courses are made for both skaters and BMXers, but this one was built just for skaters. The course can best be described as a mini-bowl contraption crowned with cement pool coping. It has a funbox in the center, and a racetrack circled the bowl, with more traditional obstacles such as hubba ledges and step-up gaps.
July 27....Globe World Championships in Dortmun Germany!!
After a spectacular day of qualifying Ryan Sheckler went in to the finals with the COVETED 1st PLACE SPOT.
Ryan suffered a severe fall during practice for the finals when he and Sebastian got tangled up. The finals are now over so check back in a few hours for the final results.
July 15 .. I just got home from the Tony Hawk “SECRET” Tour and it was unbelievable. We did some killer demos and this was definitely one of the best trips I have ever been on. Rodney Mullen was awesome and I had a blast with Tony Hawk, BAM, Shawn White, Mike V, Chalmers and the rest of the crew.
We tried cow tipping on the way to Boise but the cows were awake so it didn’t work very well. I will post some sic pics when I get home from Germany.
Sorry about the slow email response. I will get to some from the road and the rest when I return. I just got home from the Hawk Tour …. and in 5 hours I will be on the plane to Germany. June 2 .. ***CONGRATULATIONS***
Ryan Sheckler took FIRST PLACE at the second stop of the Van’s Triple Crown in New Jersey. Ryan’s first run was flawless and had him tied for FIRST. His second run proved as a critical tie breaker and held up thus putting him in FIRST PLACE. Due to heavy rain Ryan’s first place standing held throughout the weekend.
Ryan is 2/3 of the way down the final stretch to winning his first car … which he can't drive for 3 LONG YEARS (OUCH!)... Courtesy of Van’s and Ford. We will have to wait and see what happens in Oceanside California at the final stop of the Van’s Triple Crown.
This morning Ryan flew to Montreal where he met up with the Volcom Team for a round of demos. From there he will fly to Colorado for a round of demos with the WORLD Team. ....and then home for a break!

Sheckler Youngest Ever To Win WCS Pro Contest 05-06-2003 In one of his very first pro contests of the year, thirteen year-old Ryan Sheckler became the youngest skateboarder to win a pro contest in World Cup Skateboarding history last weekend at the Slam City Jam in Vancouver. In fact, Ryan now finds himself in the very distinguished company of skateboarding legends Steve Caballero and Tony Hawk, as his first place finish at Slam has not only earned him the recognition as one of the youngest skateboarders to win a pro contest within the WCS, but in skateboarding history, as well. With powerful, consistent skating that almost seemed on tap, Ryan busted out with two completely different runs in the finals that were flawless. From massive kickflip Indys out of the quarter and over the box, to back lips down the silver rail and frontside flips over the pyramid, Ryan's small frame showed the confidence, power and style of a veteran pro. etnies would like to congratulate Ryan on his first place finish at Slam and his contribution to skateboarding history.
